Lecturer
Riezmansyah bin Rosdi holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Anthropology and Sociology from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, graduating with a CGPA of 3.34 and attaining Dean’s List recognition for Semester 4. He also completed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) at Form Six College Tawau with a CGPA of 3.56, and earlier education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kuhara, Tawau.
He is currently the Head of Department for General Studies Subjects at Goon International College, where he delivers lectures and tutorials in accordance with MQA-approved syllabi. His responsibilities include preparing instructional materials aligned with Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), designing and marking assessments and examinations, and contributing to curriculum development. He is also involved in the development of new academic programmes, including studies in law enforcement, criminology, and early childhood education.
Previously, he served as an Enumerator with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), conducting structured face-to-face interviews and ensuring accurate data collection and submission. He also volunteered in the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, assisting with registration, patient flow management, observation monitoring, and data entry.
His academic record includes consistent Dean’s List recognition and acknowledgement as an outstanding STPM student in Semester 1 at SMK Kuhara Tawau. His academic background in anthropology and sociology, combined with experience in higher education teaching, field research, and community engagement, reflects a strong foundation in applied social sciences and education.
