Raajeswari Satiamurthy is a dedicated lecturer and researcher with strong expertise in Biology, Chemistry, and Biomedical Sciences. She currently serves as a Lecturer at Goon International College, where she delivers lectures for foundation, diploma, and certificate programmes, particularly in science-related and care service modules. She is experienced in designing lesson plans, preparing assessments, facilitating tutorials, and providing academic mentoring to support student achievement and engagement.

She holds a strong research background in Clinical Pharmacology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where she completed her PhD research on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), focusing on serotonergic and dopaminergic pathways in neuropathic pain. Her work integrates gene expression analysis, bioinformatics tools, and translational research approaches. She has also contributed to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and research scholarship initiatives, demonstrating strong scientific and analytical capabilities.

Prior to her academic career, she gained industrial experience as a Medical Liaison in Oncology at Beacon Hospital, where she supported clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and stakeholder coordination. Her combined expertise in teaching, research, and clinical exposure allows her to bridge scientific theory with real-world application. She is passionate about student-centred learning, curriculum development, and fostering an engaging academic environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific curiosity.
