MONA LISA WILLIAM ISSAC

Mona Lisa William Issac is a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist and lecturer with more than six years of experience in microbiology, laboratory diagnostics, and education. She specializes in Medical Microbiology and has extensive experience in laboratory testing, bacteriology research, infection control, and student training. Known for her patient and detail-oriented approach, she is also skilled in delivering engaging lessons in Biology, Science, Chemistry, and Patient Care Services related to Infection Control.

She previously served at Pantai Premier Integrated Labs, Ipoh as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and Deputy of the Microbiology Department, where she conducted microbiological testing, antibiotic sensitivity testing, staff training, and participated in hospital infection control meetings. Currently, she is serving at Goon International College as a lecturer for Foundation in Science and Diploma in Care Services programmes, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Basic Nursing Skills, and Infection Control, while also assisting in examination and moderation processes.

Mona Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology, majoring in Medical Microbiology, from University of Selangor and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education (Biology). Her achievements include serving as Deputy of the Microbiology Department, being a committee member of the Hospital Infection Team, and receiving a Good Attendance Award. She is passionate about academic excellence, practical learning, and student development.
